Brief Company History

1980 - Company founded as Ocean Systems by Bruce Sargeant and Richard Henson.

1981 - Dr. Andrew Perry joins team and company is incorporated as Ocean Scientific, Inc.

1984 - Company moves to its third building in 4 years and develops the Photon instrument for Hybritech.

1987 - Company is sold to Quixote Corporation.

1988 - Name is changed to Source Scientific. Company moves to Garden Grove.

1996 - Company purchased by Boston Biomedica, Inc.

2004 - Founders return. Company moves to Irvine.

2007 - Joins the BIT Group
